About

Lysten means wanting to do the work.

In Norwegian, lysten is to be eager, to have an appetite for something. We took the name because web work without will becomes slack code and silent inboxes.

We are a Norwegian practice that runs WordPress websites and writes PHP applications. Not a chain of subcontractors. Not a theme shop.

The work is concrete: an install that should survive the next WordPress release. An application someone else can read in two years. An email that gets answered when something is on fire.

We like narrow stacks. Fewer plugins. Less magic. More code you can point at.

How we work

Language: Norwegian and English. Code in English.
Delivery: Git where it helps. FTP where the host demands it. Always a copy you own.
Ownership: You own the code, the domain and the content. We own the responsibility we accepted.
No: We do not take everything. Page builders as a prison, endless “tiny fixes” with no agreement, and magical SEO promises are a no.
